Diane Campaña
Mexican/ American interdisciplinary artist, choreographer, dancer, and visual artist based between Tijuana, Mexico and San Diego, California. Her practice explores identity, the body, memory, and the experience of living between borders through contemporary dance, performance, video dance, and visual art.
She is the founder of SPOT Danza & Arte and a member of Subterráneo Danza Contemporánea. Her work has been presented through artistic and community programs in San Diego and Tijuana, including The Front ARTE&CULTURA, Arts District Liberty Station and The Old Globe.
Her video dance and interdisciplinary projects have been developed and presented across the San Diego–Tijuana region, connecting movement, camera, place, and transborder identity.
