LO QUE NO SE DIJO

WHAT WAS LEFT UNSAID

Performance · 2025 · Interactive Experience · 20–25 minutes

Lo Que No Se Dijo (What Was Left Unsaid) is an interactive performance that enters into dialogue with the past, giving voice to the words, emotions, and stories that became trapped in time—the things we never had the courage, opportunity, or moment to say.

Set within a dreamlike space between memory and imagination, the artist confronts her past, her present, and an imagined future. Through movement, spoken word, visual art, and audience interaction, the work transforms what was left unsaid into a shared experience.

The piece brings together dance, voice, visual art, and live interaction, creating an interdisciplinary language in which the body becomes a vessel for memory and emotion. Rather than simply observing, the audience is invited to enter the world of the work, reflect on their own experiences, and become part of the unfolding performance.

Moving between reality and fantasy, What Was Left Unsaid explores the emotional weight of unspoken words and the possibility of giving them a new form through the body, imagination, and collective presence.

VENIMOS DE TODAS PARTES

Venimos de Todas Partes is an interdisciplinary performance exploring identity, belonging, and the experience of living between places. Through contemporary dance, visual elements, and sculptural figures, the work reflects on the transborder experience between Tijuana and San Diego, questioning where we belong when we come from more than one place.

My practice in video dance and documentary explores the relationship between movement, body, memory, place, and identity. Over the years, I have created and presented multiple video dance works and documentary-based projects, often working across the border between Tijuana and San Diego.

Through choreography, performance, visual composition, and film, I use the camera not only as a documentation tool, but as an active part of the artistic process. My work explores themes such as transborder identity, waiting, belonging, displacement, the body, and personal memory.

My video work includes short films, video dances, interdisciplinary performances, and documentary projects developed independently and in collaboration with artists and communities. These works have been presented in artistic, cultural, and community-based contexts, continuing my research into the possibilities of movement beyond the stage.
